North Shore Senior Photography/ Confidence for the Year Ahead

Senior year is such an exciting chapter- it’s full of new opportunities, milestones, and anticipation for what’s next. Thats why I love photographing seniors so much. As a North Shore senior photographer based in Wakefield, MA , my goal is not only to create beautiful portraits, but to help each senior feel confident and celebrated as they head into their last year of highschool.

More Than Just Pictures

For me senior photography isn’t about stiff poses or just checking a box for the yearbook. It’s about capturing personality, style, and individuality. When they look back at their photos years from now, I want them to remember how good they felt stepping into this season of life.

Bring in the Family

During this session, we started with portraits of the senior on her own- with the beautiful Wingaersheek Beach as her backdrop. Then we brought in her older sisters for a fun addition. As a mom of three girls, in the back of my mind I’m always thinking of the pictures I would want of my kids. With that at the forefront, I wanted to capture the essence of “sisters”, so I gave them a few prompts that encouraged natural photos and I just love how they turned out!

This was such a fun session! During my senior sessions, I love a mixture of posed looking at the camera and pictures with movement. My goal is for each senior to feel relaxed and at ease so that the pictures reflect that.
